HALLOWEEN: What is really going on?

I know we have all been brought up celebrating Halloween, dressing up and all, but have you ever given any thought to where it came from and what is really going on?

This is a Satanic celebration, yet many God-fearing believers can’t wait to join in. We talk about how evil the world has become and how wicked people are getting, and then we join right in on the most evil, wicked holiday on our calendar. We go to the stores and all we see are dead and evil things — skeletons, witches, scared black cats, devilish characters, and bloodied bodies — and we go right ahead and celebrate this evil holiday and call it fun.

God says not to engage in these pagan holidays. Do you obey God or Satan? One reason our world is seeing so much evil is because we have turned away from God and don’t love Him enough to obey Him.

There is a day coming called the Great White Throne Judgment. How will you stand before a righteous God regarding the sins of not obeying Him? He sent His Son to die on the cross for your sins and the sins of the whole world, and He rose from the dead on the third day for us. All He wants is for us to repent, tell Him we are sorry for the terrible things we have done, and He will forgive us. He forgave me 58 years ago, and I have never been the same since.

Remember that He loves you and wants you to obey Him above all else. Please read His Word in the Bible — He wrote it for everyone.
