Terrence “Terry” Kevin Davis, 67, a lifelong resident of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away Sept. 27, 2026, at the Schneidmiller Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Terry was born Nov. 16, 1958, in Kellogg, to John E. “Jack” Davis and Mary Frances (Crosby) Davis, being their youngest of 13 children.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, at 11 a.m. at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Kellogg, Idaho. Inurnment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Kellogg, Idaho.

Terry attended and graduated from Kellogg High School in 1978 and then worked at the Bunker Hill zinc plant and mill until its closure in 1982. Following that closure, Terry was manager for several years at the St. Vincent de Paul store in Kellogg, which at that time was operated by St. Rita’s Catholic Church. After his tenure at the St. Vincent de Paul store, he retired due to health problems. But even after retirement, Terry continued to donate his time by helping the Church in so many ways including preparing Thanksgiving and Christmas meals to be delivered to families in need, helping the Father and the nuns by doing other charity work or fixing things around the Church. He was known for his kindness and had a heart of gold and would help anyone in their time of need whenever he could and by any means possible.

In his spare time, Terry loved to camp and fish with his friends and family. He loved art and was an avid and very talented artist. At one time, Terry had painted murals for the city of Kellogg on the concrete wall going up North Division in town, which remained there for several years. He created albums of drawings consisting of creatures, outdoor scenes and people. He also painted old saws and created various types of displays and would give them as gifts to friends and family. His art talent was incredible.

Terry loved his Kellogg Wildcats high school football and basketball teams and followed them all through the years. He was also an avid Gonzaga basketball fan.

One thing Terry cherished most were his three cats, Sam, Nehi, and Daisy. They gave him so much comfort and he spoiled them to no end.

Terry is survived by two brothers, Joseph Davis and his wife, Jan, of Ravensdale, Wash.; and Daniel Davis and his wife, Sandra, of Osburn, Idaho; two sisters, Cecilia Hunter of Osburn, Idaho; and Rita Davis of Kellogg, Idaho. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Terry was never married.

Preceding him in death were his parents John E. “Jack” Davis and Mary Frances (Crosby) Davis; five brothers, James, Robert, John, Raymond and Glen Davis; and three sisters, Marie (Davis) Rush, Frances (Davis) Sanders, and Joanie (Davis) DeMasters. He was also preceded in death by two half-brothers, Gerald F. Davis and Lawrence M. Olson; and one half-sister, Jackie (Davis) Brink.

Terry will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but his memory will live on in the so many lives he touched during his lifetime along with remembering all the things he loved to do. We will miss you forever!
