AI: Solve the resource use problem

With the midterms in the taillights, I suspect artificial intelligence and their data centers will now be the hot topic of discussion.

Forbes magazine recently reported there are now close to 1,300 data centers up and running, with another 2,0000-plus planned or in progress. Such centers do now and will increasingly require vast amounts of power and water.

When questioned about said requirements, AI supporters respond that they will be able to solve many complex problems to the benefit of medical science as well as host of other pending issues.

Perhaps the first complex problem that AI could tackle is how to proceed on far less water and power.

Just thinking.
