ACHILLES: A woke warning

Do we want woke here?

I received a mailer supporting Todd Achilles for U.S. Senate.

I saw a video with him speaking at an April 2025 video in Nampa.

The other speakers were Socialist multi-millionaires Bernie Sanders and AOC.

Todd Achilles was praising Mayor McLean for flying the LGBTQ Pride flag, alongside the American flag at City Hall. If anything, the far left, ultra-liberal city of Boise should be flying the American flag upside down, showing the signal of distress. Many people have moved to North Idaho to escape blue city madness, now this guy wants to turn the whole state blue.

I have lost some respect for CDA Mayor Gookin and Christie Wood for supporting him in a CDA Press ad on Saturday. 

Dan and Christie, is this what you both support? Wokeness?

I thought I would clear the air on Mr. Achilles running as an “Independent,” instead of a Socialist.

He is running as an Independent because many now see Democrats, for what they have become, Socialists and Communists. It’s a big tent everybody. No, it’s not. They can’t deny their objective any longer.

The political warning still rings true that “ You can vote your way into Socialism, but you have to shoot your way out.”
