PROP 1: Read full statute

Before you vote on Nov 3, I encourage you to read the full legal statue regarding the present law in Idaho state pertaining to abortion. It can be found at https://legislature.idaho.gov. Look at Title 18 Chapter 6. It is only 1 page long and easy to understand. Also read the full text for Proposition 1. This is available in your voter’s guide and at archive.sos.idaho.gov. and includes the letter presenting the initiative to Idaho Secretary of State Phil McGrane from Melanie Folwell for Idahoans United for Women and Families. Prop 1 is a little longer, as it completely changes and adds to the law as it now stands, but is still easily understood. Then make an informed decision on how you will vote. And in case you. miss it, Prop 1 does not include the word “woman.” Not once. It uses the word “person.” Every time. Let that sink in.
