Make-A-Wish Idaho hires former 'Wish Kid' for Post Falls chapter
Former "Wish Kid" Karli Jeffries was hired by Make-A-Wish Idaho to work as a wish coordinator out of the Post Falls office.
Jeffries was diagnosed with a neuromuscular disorder during her freshman year of high school and her wish to have a capsule wardrobe was granted in 2021.
She attended Arizona State University, graduating with a degree in public service and policy and interned with the Arizona and the Alaska/Washington Make-A-Wish chapters.
Jeffries also previously worked at Ronald McDonald House as a family service coordinator.
“Receiving my wish was a kick-start to my exciting future,” Karli said.
Make-A-Wish Idaho’s mission is to grant life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses.
Make-A-Wish Idaho serves children throughout the state with offices in Boise, Post Falls and Pocatello.
