Two taken to hospital following crash that involved Rathdrum police officer
A crash involving a Rathdrum Police officer and civilian took place just before 3 p.m. on Sunday at the intersection of Highway 41 and Lancaster Road. Idaho State Police are investigating the crash.

RATHDRUM — A crash involving a Rathdrum police officer sent two people to the hospital Sunday.
According to the Rathdrum Police Department, the accident ocurred around 3 p.m. at Highway 41 and Lancaster Road. A statement from Rathdrum police indicated the officer was responding to a call at the time of the crash.
Both drivers were transported to Kootenai Health by ambulance. The officer was treated and released.
The condition of the other driver was not available.
Idaho State Police are investigating the crash.
