MATTARE: Spending costs taxpayers

As we cast our primary ballots, remember that Bruce Mattare helped oversee the county’s use of millions in Biden’s ARPA funding. And as a member of the Board of County Commissioners, failed to prevent legitimately insane overspending on the Justice Center Expansion Project, costing taxpayers an estimated 20 million more than originally said.

While the other candidate may not share his cozy relationship with the sheriff, Mattare came here from D.C. as an elite — and his spending record in office reflects it.
