Camp Kaniksu open for registration

Hospice of North Idaho is accepting registrations for Camp Kaniksu, a free grief support camp for children and teens ages 6 to 16 who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Registration is open through June 1.

Held June 26-28, Camp Kaniksu provides a safe and supportive environment where grieving youth can connect with peers, build coping skills, and participate in meaningful camp experiences guided by licensed social workers and trained volunteers.

The camp begins with a Camper and Parent Evening on June 26 at Hospice of North Idaho, followed by an overnight camp experience at Camp Lutherhaven. Activities include grief support groups, swimming, archery, ziplining, and a luminary ceremony.

Camp Kaniksu is free to families.
