Foundation donates $10K to 'Idaho Gives'

The Greater Coeur d’Alene Community Foundation donated $10,000 to the Idaho Gives Community Prize Pool to support nonprofits serving the greater Coeur d’Alene area.
“Our region’s nonprofits show up for this community every single day,” GCCF representative Mary Sanderson shared. “This gift is our way of celebrating their work and encouraging even more generosity during Idaho Gives.”
This gift will provide prize awards to eligible organizations that demonstrate strong board leadership and community engagement, including those that achieve 100% board giving during Idaho Gives, a press release said.
The announcement came during The Idaho Community Foundation’s Nonprofit Regional Impact Summit in Coeur d’Alene, which brought together nonprofit leaders from across North Idaho to strengthen the communities they serve.
To qualify for the GCCF Community Prize Pool, nonprofits must participate in Idaho Gives; serve the greater Coeur d’Alene area; and achieve 100% board giving during Idaho Gives.
Nonprofits can register for Idaho Gives at IdahoGives.org. Donations will be accepted May 4-7 at IdahoGives.org.
The Greater Coeur d’Alene Community Foundation is an affiliate of The Idaho Community Foundation.
"As GCCF continues to grow, it remains focused on building a long-term, community-rooted philanthropic resource that supports the greater Coeur d’Alene community for generations to come," a press release said.
