TRUMP: Understand context of actions

About Marsha Becker’s letter published March 12. The extravagant spending — the White House remodel is privately financed. A military parade — OMG, not a military parade! And I don’t get the Kennedy Center rename either. The across the board (abhorrent) budget cuts — our country is not going broke — it is broke! We are near the borrowing abyss where we may not recover. The cuts only make a small difference but it’s a start.

Making Canada and Greenland part of the US. Canada — kind of funny. Greenland — perhaps necessary for our defense and to keep our enemies at bay.

I suspect Ms. Becker could not cite anything good about Trump or Republicans. I challenge her to find any solutions for our country’s financial difficulties beside “I hate Trump” in the Democrats’ platform.
