Free dental sealant clinic offered Saturday at NIC

The North Idaho College Dental Hygiene Program is offering a free dental sealant clinic for people of all ages from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the NIC Dental Hygiene Clinic in the Winton Building.

Dental sealants are thin, protective coatings applied to the chewing surfaces of back teeth, intended to reduce the risk of tooth decay. The procedure is quick and painless and can help reduce the risk of tooth decay.

Other services will include oral exams, fluoride treatments, oral health instruction and nutritional counseling. 

The clinic will operate on a first-come, first-served basis, with appointments lasting about an hour.
