TRUMP: A total trainwreck

From the moment Trump and his administration took office, they have been an afront to all the values that I hold dear. His administration has been riddled with scandal. Trump has handled millions of dollars impulsively, both in spending and cuts. For example, spending extravagantly on a White House remodel, a military parade, and adding his name to the Kennedy Center, just for the sake of seeing his name on a much- loved institution. This kind of extravagant spending, while at the same time supporting benefit cuts, is abhorrent.  His ordered budget cuts across social programs, environmental agencies, and educational programs have deeply hurt the most vulnerable among us, and has caused pain to the majority, as we see groceries and gas prices go up, and access to affordable health care go down.  

Trump has made a mockery of the U.S. by his outlandish statements to make Canada and Greenland U.S. Territories. His bullying behavior by implementing tariffs has caused our economy to reel. This unstable footing is now compounded by a war, that we entered without discussion with our elected Congress. It seems that Trump and the few members of his cabinet, are making independent decisions that skirt around the safeguards of a democratic government. Trump and this administration are dictating what happens in this country.

I have read that there is still a high percentage of people who do not vote. If you are disillusioned by who you see in office, please vote. Research the candidates. In my opinion, Brent Regan and his Ilk are people to keep out of local government. They display the same dictatorial, bullying behaviors as the Trump Administration.
