IMMIGRANTS: If you really care, sponsor them yourself

In response to Ms. Coppedge letter she claims there is a narrative that one party “cares more about immigrants than citizens.” That narrative seems accurate as only Democratic controlled jurisdictions have created sanctuaries for “illegal immigrants. 

The “facts” are if you are here illegally, you have broken the law. The 10-year census is skewed by counting all residents, legal or not. The financial strain imposed on our society is in the billions and services go wanting due to a shortage of funds. 

If someone is truly compassionate to these “immigrants,” sponsor some. Take on the responsibility personally and do not take an anonymous tax increase on working citizens to fund your ideology.
