IRONMAN: Great job on cleaning up

Rusty the wonder dog and I walk in the Coeur d'Alene City Park every day.

We just took a walk Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. as the Ironman staff and volunteers were packing up to leave.

After hosting a thousand Ironman participants and even more family and spectators, the park has less litter than before the event.

They say a good Scout leaves their campsite a little better than they found it.

Kudos to the Ironman staff and volunteers … the park looks great considering all the traffic.

In my opinion, they can come back any time!
