KCSO barbecue, demos on Saturday at Silver Lake Mall

The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office will host a barbecue and demonstrations of its resources and services from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The free event celebrates the partnership between first responders from fire, EMS and law enforcement. It will feature marine boats, a drone team, SWAT response vehicle, first-responder equipment and a combat challenge.

There will be K-9, CPR and Jaws of Life demonstrations.

The public is welcome to stop by and meet county fire and rescue teams.
