North Idaho Indivisible to host vigil for immigrants slain by ICE

North Idaho Indivisible is organizing a vigil for Lorenzo Salgado Araujo and Johan Sebastian Guerrero, two immigrants shot and killed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement multiple weeks ago, at Atlas Waterfront Park on Saturday, July 25, from noon to 1 p.m. 

"The murders of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo and Johan Sebastian Guerrero are not isolated tragedies; they are the direct outcome of an agency that operates with total impunity and zero accountability," North Idaho Indivisible said in a press release Thursday. 

According to North Idaho Indivisible, the vigil is in participation with a nationally recognized day of protest called the "ICE Out Day of Action."

"As always, we are committed to peaceful and non-violent actions," they said in the release.
