Hayden Days returns July 24 - 25
The annual Hayden Days celebration returns to McIntire Family Park on Friday, July 24, and Saturday, July 25.
The event will include the popular Hayden Days parade with a flyover by No Limits Aviation, a pancake breakfast and a car show sponsored by TDS, as well as live music and many games and activities for children, such as pony rides and bouncy houses.
From 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday, the Northern Lakes Fire Protection District will host a pancake breakfast at the fire station. Donations are accepted for the all-you-can-eat breakfast.
The parade will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday and will run along Government Way, starting at Hayden Avenue and ending at Honeysuckle Avenue. This year’s parade will begin with a flyover and will include the 2025 Distinguished Veteran of the Year and Grand Marshal Ross Welburn.
Parade applications are accepted until July 20. After that date, call 208-209-1080 to see if spots are still available.
The Hayden’s Got Talent Show is set for 12:45 to 3:15 p.m. Friday. The judges and audience will determine the winners.
The Hayden Days Car Show will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Registration is $25 per vehicle. The first 150 entrances will receive a dash plaque. Winners will be announced at 2 p.m.
The Kelly Hughes Band will perform at 5:30 p.m. Friday, and the Rhythm Dawgs will perform at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
