Early bird tickets offered for SNR's Gems & Jeans fundraiser

COEUR d'ALENE — Specialized Needs Recreation's annual Gems & Jeans fundraiser is scheduled Sept. 17 at Cherry Hill Park, the future home of SNR's new recreation center. 

The facility will provide expanded opportunities for year-round recreation, social connection, and lifelong learning for children and adults with disabilities.

"This is a celebration of what our community has made possible," said SNR Executive Director Lindsay Patterson. "Every ticket purchased, auction bid placed, and donation made helps ensure that individuals with disabilities have access to recreation, friendships, and experiences that enrich their lives. Hosting this event at the future home of SNR makes this year's celebration especially meaningful."

The evening will feature dinner, auctions, games, raffles, and stories highlighting the impact SNR has made in the lives of participants and their families over the past four decades.

Founded in 1984, Specialized Needs Recreation has grown to serve hundreds of individuals each year through sports, recreation, camps, and social programs. 

Tickets are $75 until July 17, and then $100.
