Gloria, who lives in Coeur d’Alene, was a national champion and Olympic trials qualifier in 1964. Now, at age 78, she trains with the Kroc Masters Swim Team and enjoys competing nationally and having fun swimming around Tubbs Hill with friends. Recently, she revisited the Los Angeles Athletic Club in Southern California where she trained from ages 12-16, and shared with me the beautiful values which are still a focus at that facility.
