Leadership Coeur d'Alene Class to complete act of kindness

The Leadership Coeur d'Alene Class of 2026, through the Coeur d'Alene Regional Chamber of Commerce, will come together at 8 a.m. Saturday to complete a Random Act of Kindness community service project for Kootenai Health at the Davidson Family Hospitality Center & Walden House.

The project is to stain the perimeter fence surrounding the facility. The fence has been in need of some tender loving care, and that need was brought to the class's attention by Elizabeth Brewer. 

The class saw an opportunity to step in and provide meaningful service to a place that supports families and individuals during some of life's most difficult moments.

The project was organized by Robert Davies, vice president of the Leadership Coeur d'Alene Class of 2026, Elizabeth Brewer, director of Research and Care Transformation at Kootenai Health, and David McNeill, class president.

"This is exactly the kind of project that reflects the heart of leadership," said Davies of the Leadership Coeur d'Alene Class of 2026. "It is about showing up, serving others, and making a real impact in the community where it matters most."

The Random Act of Kindness project is being completed in conjunction with the Coeur d'Alene Regional Chamber of Commerce and reflects Leadership Coeur d'Alene's ongoing commitment to service, community involvement, and hands-on leadership.

The Davidson Family Hospitality Center serves as an important resource for those connected to care at Kootenai Health, and the class hopes this project will provide a refreshed and welcoming environment for the families, patients and community members who rely on the facility.

The Leadership Coeur d'Alene Class of 2026 is proud to support Kootenai Health and contribute to a project that benefits the broader community.
