William 'Bill' K. Webster Jr., 85

William “Bill” K. Webster Jr. died 29 June 2026 at his residence in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, at the age of 85. Bill was born in Seattle, Wash., and was the son of noted Coeur d'Alene restaurateur and former Idaho State Representative Bill K. Webster Sr. and Bernadette J. Webster (Cruickshank).

Bill and his younger sisters, Michelle and Alexis, grew up on Sherman Avenue, and he was a member of the Cd’A HS Viking class of 1959. He attended North Idaho College and graduated from Washington State University in 1963. Bill served in the Washington State Air National Guard.

Bill retired from the Washington State Department of Transportation as a Property Assessor in 2014, and they returned to live in Coeur d’Alene after working and living throughout Washington State and Northern Idaho.

He is survived by his beloved spouse of 65 years, Barbara Webster (Edwards); their sons, Robert W. Webster of Whidbey Island, Wash., and Bill E. Webster of Wildomar, Calif.; and daughter Amanda L. Hedrick of Lake City, Fla. He was predeceased by his son, Bradley A. Webster. They have eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
