It's Kindness Card season

Community members are invited to participate in the North Idaho Kindness Project's 2026 Kindness Cards campaign, a collaborative effort to spread joy throughout North Idaho.

Recipient nominations and volunteer sign-ups are open through Feb. 10 or until complete. The goal is to distribute more than 3,000 Kindness Cards. More than 150 volunteers are needed.

Nominate a business, organization or group that employs, serves or houses community members who would benefit from Kindness Cards.

For volunteers, card kits with instructions will be ready at a chosen pick-up location. Completed cards will be dropped off before Feb. 28. Volunteers will deliver them the following week.

Participation in the program is free.
