Bag sale for charities today

A sale for charities is scheduled 3 to 7 p.m. today at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds.

For $10, people can fill a kitchen-size garbage bag with clothing, shoes, purses and accessories for men, women and children. There will be "massive mounds" to pick from.

The event is presented by Beau Monde, a clothing resale and consignment business. In 24 years, it has raised nearly $200,000 for local charities.

For $20, early bird shoppers can go in at 2 p.m.

It is cash only.
