Mountain View High to host inaugural Hubcap Heist

Community members are invited to join in the fun Wednesday during a new event focused on community connection and school spirit.

The inaugural Hubcap Heist will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mountain View Alternative High School, 7802 W. Main St., Rathdrum.

Students from Mountain View and New Vision Alternative High will compete in boys basketball and girls volleyball games. The all-day, schoolwide community event will feature a multitude of activities, including art contests, Oreo stacking competitions, minute to win it games, Solo cup stacking contests, Frisbee toss and doughnut eating contests.

Vendors and community partners will be set up in classrooms for students to visit throughout the day. Lunch will be available for students and staff.

The event is designed to be inclusive, energetic and relationship-focused, offering a chance for students to interact with positive adult role models and people from the community in a relaxed, engaging setting.
