DEMOCRATS: How would it be if they were in charge?

I must admit that Sarah Martin is an excellent apologist and promoter for the local Democrat Party. Her recent column is very well done. She stimulates feel-good emotions with claims that the Democrat Party wants dialogue, to listen, and to represent all the citizens regardless of party affiliation, which is all well and good. However, as a former Democrat, and a sociopolitical refugee from my native California, I ask myself what would Kootenai County look like if the Democrats were in control.

Sara Martin never really gets into the deep sociopolitical issues. However, if the Democrats were in power, would Kootenai County resemble L.A. County, Multnomah County, or King County? Perhaps Kootenai County might begin to experience massive homelessness, open air drug markets, exponential rise in illegal immigrants, burdensome government regulations, higher taxes, poorly maintained roads, or schools that indoctrinate instead of educate.

My main point is this, no matter how wonderful the Democrats may sound rhetorically, what they deliver is really something entirely different. I speak as a former Democrat who came to the realization that the Democrat Party has been transformed into essentially a Marxist Socialist Party, and their policies will ruin this county and the entire state if they gain political control.
