GROCERIES: Kudos to stranger for doing good deed

To the gentleman who paid for my groceries on Jan. 1 at approximately 9 a.m. at the Coeur d’Alene Super 1, thank you so much! You said only “Merry Christmas.” I was initially so confused, as this had never happened to me before, and I couldn’t believe what was happening!

I told you I would spread the deed. I try to support a local food pantry for veterans and their families. Because of you, their next donation will be larger!

Also, thank you for making me believe that 2026 may be brighter for all!
