History book signing today at Hayden City Hall

Hayden’s Historic Preservation Commission is hosting a book singing from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today in celebration of the release of "Ordinary People Extraordinary Lives: A History of Hayden, Idaho and the Surrounding Area, Volume I."

Dozens of families with deep roots in the area shared their ancestors' accomplishments, struggles and memories with city leaders. This book offers historical accounts of those who molded the Hayden community.

The city will host two book signing events for community members to meet the authors of this first volume. The next signing will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 6.

Both events will take place at Hayden City Hall, 8930 N. Government Way, Hayden.
