Spokane International Airport reports record year

Last year was the "busiest ever" for the Spokane International Airport.

According to airline data, airport passenger traffic totaled more than 4.35 million passengers in 2025, a 2% increase from the previous passenger record set in 2024.

The airport serves eight major airlines and three cargo carriers and employs over 3,000 people.

Spokane International Airport also expanded flight services in 2025, launched a new restaurant concept aligned with its regionally focused concessions program, and introduced a new logo and brand identity. 

Phase four of the Rail-truck Transload Center expansion is complete, along with a multi-year Parking Consolidation Project.

The airport also made significant progress on its Terminal Renovation and Expansion Program, described in a Feb. 19 press release as "the airport’s long-term vision to enhance and expand the terminal facility." 

Construction related to the Concourse C East Terminal Expansion should wrap up this summer before advancing to the next phase of the TREX Program. 

Subject to future funding and approval, the next phase will focus on the construction of a Central Hall, a 255,000-square-foot facility "designed to consolidate the airport’s security screening and baggage claim areas and streamline passenger access between concourses," the press release said.
