50th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Gary and Inez Edwards

Gary A. and Inez Edwards met in December 1975, started dating in January 1976 and were married March 2, 1976, at the Christian Church on 4th Street. Inez Edwards was formerly Miss Inez Cleveland. Phil and Kelly Owens were witnesses. 

The Edwards are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary at a party and free dance for family and friends March 7, 2026, at the upstairs ballroom at the Coeur d’Alene downtown Eagles lodge from 7 to 10 p.m. Music will be provided by the Desert Rose Band, with whom Gary played bass for 18 years at the CDA Eagles. 

Gary and Inez co-owned Edwards Community Living Services until retirement. Gary and Inez reared three children, including Lisa Staples of Wenatchee, Wash.; Jason Cleveland of Las Vegas, Nev., and D. Allen Edwards of Moscow, Idaho. The couple had eight grandchildren and now have four great-grandchildren with a fifth on the way.
