North Idaho Classics Car Club recently announced its 2025 Community Contributions, totaling $8,000, to eight local nonprofits.
This year’s recipients sharing $2,000 include Hayden Senior Center, Rathdrum Community Center, Post Falls Senior Center, Newby-ginnings, Juvenile Justice Outreach, Post Falls Victims Advocates Services Unit, Quilts of Valor, and Family Promise.
President Gus Johnson and Treasurer Laurie Thomas expressed their gratitude to club members, partners, and the local community for making these contributions possible.
“Our club exists for the camaraderie of classic car enthusiasts, but giving back is at the heart of everything we do,” Johnson said. “We are honored to support organizations that provide essential services and improve the quality of life for so many in our region.”
North Idaho Classics has supported the community through charitable giving since its founding in 1984. The club has contributed $139,877.01 to nonprofits since 1996, reflecting its commitment to making a positive impact in North Idaho.
They have also endowed a scholarship, the Gene Fusion Memorial, through North Idaho College, benefiting automotive and music students.
