EDUCATION: Support schools and students

Now that the legislature is considering cuts to K-12 education I think it is time for the citizens (parents) to stand up and get involved. I recommend that anything supported by our taxes on homeowners be stopped and that the school districts quit any of those programs.

I want to see what happens after the football teams, volleyball teams, etc., are closed plus the SROs and FFA. 

I don’t have any kids, grandkids or great ones in our local schools, but I totally support giving them the support they need to be a success — I vote to pay the taxes to make them successful!
