65th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Sue and Ford "Spike" Dunton

Ford (Spike) and Sue Dunton will be celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary. They were married in Spokane, Wash., on August 26, 1961.  After graduating from Gonzaga University and Spike's receiving Army Commission as 2nd Lieutenant, they were stationed at Fort Meade in Maryland, lived briefly in Seattle, Spokane, Sandpoint and Plains, Mont., before moving to Coeur d Alene in 1971, where they have lived for the past 55 years; as well as enjoying winters in Indian Wells and Palm Desert, Calif., for the past 36 years. 

They are the proud parents of Lisa Dunton-Dent, Seattle; Wendy Montgomery, Cd'A and Michael Dunton in Moab; grandparents of Ashley, Cody, Cameron who live in Cd'A; Temple Dent, Seattle; Rio Dunton, Moab; and Angelou Dunton-Dent, San Diego. And great-grandparents to seven boys and three girls, all living in Cd'A. There will be a family reunion with all attending with their spouses from Seattle, Moab, Utah and San Diego.
