An Arizona man died in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 95 near Sagle on Sunday.

According to the Idaho State Police, a Toyota FJ Cruiser driven by a 62-year-old man of Oro Valley was northbound about 1:30 p.m. when he drove left of center and struck a southbound Chevrolet Silverado towing a trailer driven by a 54-year-old Spirit Lake man.

The Chevrolet and trailer ran off the road at the southbound shoulder at milepost 467, an ISP press release said. The FJ Cruiser went off the roadway at the northbound shoulder.

The driver of the FJ Cruiser was transported by ground ambulance to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. The driver of the Silverado declined to be transported from the scene, ISP said.

The roadway was blocked for about two hours.

An investigation continues.
