VOTING: Democracy is at stake

We’re voting for our freedom, liberty and most of all, our democracy! 

Now is not the time to be changing the rules, the same year we vote in November. That should be up to Congress and the Senate Rules Committee. 

The Supreme Court has seemed to have lost its way. Are politicians being bought or threatened? We don’t need ICE agents at the poll stations. That’s intimidation and poses a threat to immigrants that have lives in the U.S. for decades with their families.

Mail-in voting makes it easier for senior citizens that aren’t able to get to a voting machine, our service members overseas, citizens with medical problems and, of course, seniors not having to stand in line for hours. We have been voting this way for centuries. Now’s not the time to even be talking about it.

Having the FBI looking into the 2020 records in Georgia? Not only is it a waste of dollars, but there’s more important matters the FBI can be working on. And the FBI is investigating former government employees that have served our country that have said unpleasant things about President Trump. Where’s the logic in that? We need to fight the corruption that is happening now in our government. 

We need to vote for what’s important, for our families and the future of our descendants. We need Congress and the Senate to get things done, instead of pointing fingers and blaming the other side. Your vote matters.
