Post Falls Historical Society presents 'Through Her Lens'

Enjoy an evening of artistry and history at the Post Falls Museum as the Historical Society celebrates the photography of Post Falls native Margaret Evarts from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

Before she passed away in 2019, Evarts managed Evarts Studio for over 50 years alongside her husband, Neal. She also worked as a freelance photographer and photofinisher, documenting North Idaho history with her photos, famously photographing the Philip Linquist murder trial and the Coeur d’Alene Tribe’s Cataldo pilgrimage. 

Celebrate Evarts' legacy and contributions to local history at Post Falls Museum’s "Through Her Lens" event Thursday. It will showcase Evarts’ work and provide appetizers and wine.

Tickets are available online for $20, with proceeds going to the Post Falls Museum and Historical Society.
