Centennial Trail section to close temporarily

The North Idaho Centennial Trail will be closed for construction from May 4 to May 13, from the Idaho/Washington state line to Pleasant View Road in Post Falls.

The closure is necessary to replace about2 miles of deteriorated asphalt trail surface, a Kootenai County press release said.

The county, the cities of Post Falls and Coeur d'Alene, the North Idaho Centennial Trail Foundation and a state grant. funds the project.
