Library lands $10K donation pledge

The Coeur d’Alene Public Library Foundation recently received a pledge that will help it boost its online book supply.

Larry Running said he would match donations to the foundation up to $10,000 through the end of the year. The funds will go toward purchasing online books.

Running previously provided this same gift to the Museum of North Idaho.

"Ebooks and Eaudiobooks are enormously popular and the need to bolster this collection is great," a press release said.

To donate, call Holly Stetson, foundation manager, 208-769-2380; send a check to the Coeur d'Alene Public Library Foundation, 702 E. Front, Cd'A, ID 83814; or go to cdalibrary.org.
