KIRK: Poetic inspiration

A TURNING POINT

In halls of youth, a spark ignites,

Voices rising, shining bright,

A call for values, sharp and clear,

To shape the future, far and near.

With courage born from ideals strong,

He stood for right as he marched along.

A turning point, a brand new dawn,

Where freedom’s light is carried on.

Charlie fought with steadfast grace,

Defending truth in every place,

His voice a beacon, fierce and true,

A symbol of what brave hearts do.

Shot down for the words he bore,

A voice that justice can’t ignore.

In faith and hope, he stood so tall,

A martyr’s cry, a call for all.

He leaves behind his loving wife,

A heartbroken end to a precious life,

And children’s tears, so deep, so true,

A void where love once fiercely grew.

His sacrifice now a guiding star,

A turning point to raise the bar.

May justice rise from sorrow’s pain,

And peace prevail where hate has reigned.
