AMAZON: Kirk tribute triumphs

Writing children’s books has given me purpose in my retirement. It has also given me comfort and distraction from home challenges since my beloved, husband Michael was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease two years ago. I prize my books for being sweetly told, carrying good moral lessons wrapped in a bit of whimsy and fun. 

I have published 13 books, all published by Amazon’s KDP, so you can imagine my dismay when they blocked my children’s book that is a tribute to Charlie Kirk and his amazing outreach ministry. After a bit of a battle of my own, (and a complaint filed with BBB) KDP has consented to publish: Charlie battles the Dragon!! I am honored to share the royalties with Turning Point USA and pray that Charlie’s message and mission will be blessed.

Born and raised in Coeur d’Alene has given me a home-grown perspective and I’m grateful to all my friends and family here that have been so supportive and now cheer with me for this small victory. God bless you all and God bless Erika Kirk and her precious children.
