Road work to cause delays in Silver Valley
Work began Monday to fog seal and stripe Silver Valley Road, including this section near Silverton.

WALLACE — Shoshone County Public Works is advising residents and travelers to expect delays on Silver Valley Road this week.
Fog sealing took place on Silver Valley Road between Osburn and Wallace on Monday.
Today and Wednesday, striping will occur on the road from Wallace to Kingston, past the Hilltop area. Delays are expected between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., with flaggers managing traffic flow.
The Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes crossing just east of Silverton will also be affected. Trail users should anticipate delays at that location.
