The Farm Bureau Insurance Company of Idaho invites young writers across the state to honor those who have served in the armed forces by submitting a Veterans Day essay.
This long-standing tradition encourages Idaho students to reflect on the service of their family members and share what that legacy means to them.
The winners will receive prizes and be honored at the Farm Bureau’s Salute to Idaho Veterans celebration.
Cash prizes will be awarded to each category winner.
Winners will also be invited to share excerpts of their essays at the 13th annual Farm Bureau Salute to Idaho Veterans event from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 7 at Farm Bureau’s home office in Pocatello.
Entry forms are available from local Farm Bureau Insurance agents or online at www.idahofarmbureauinsurance.com
Entries must be received by Oct. 24.
