Northern Lakes Fire District holding open house Saturday

RATHDRUM — The Northern Lakes Fire District has scheduled an open House from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Station 2, 13876 W. Highway 53.

It is a chance for residents to meet Interim Fire Chief Kevin Croffoot, fire commissioners and law enforcement officers.

It will include free hot dogs and drinks, Smokey Bear, a firefighter challenge for kids, equipment displays and lifesaving lessons.

“We’re excited to open our doors to the community,” Croffoot said. “This event allows us to strengthen connections with the people we serve while showcasing the outstanding work of our firefighters, staff, and public safety partners.”
