Kootenai Health names interim chief information officer

COEUR d’ALENE — Kootenai Health has announced the appointment of Todd Holling as interim chief information officer. He will join Kootenai Health on Sept. 29.

Holling brings more than 20 years of progressive leadership experience in health care IT, including roles at nationally recognized organizations such as University of Chicago Medicine, Northwestern Medicine, Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin and University of Texas Health San Antonio. 

Most recently, Holling served as deputy chief digital information officer for the University of Texas Health San Antonio, a $4.5 billion academic health system and National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center.

Holling has led major enterprise technology transformations throughout his career such as cloud migrations, enterprise resource planning implementations, Epic electronic medical record optimization, digital innovation initiatives and large-scale infrastructure projects.

Holling has two degrees from the University of Illinois in information decision sciences and information systems and previously served as an executive officer in the United States Air Force.
