SCRIPTURE: A question for America

In my youth I was taught Jeremiah 12:5: “If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? And if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustiest, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of the Jordan?”

It doesn’t require an advanced degree in theology to understand the meaning of this quote from the Old Testament. The real issue is having the courage to realize how important this question is to America and her citizens today.
