KIRK: Conservative martyr

Charlie Kirk was murdered while speaking on a Utah college campus, doing what he loved. His vocation was to engage meaningfully in substantive discussions with students who have been indoctrinated within the Woke collegiate bubble.

He did so with joy, verve, and a genuine sense of humor. However, he was no clown. The all-pervasive Leftist monoculture has driven almost any dissent from most US campuses. Entire generations of students have been propagandized within campus cultures which resemble intellectual Gulags more than they do authentic Universities.

Like Daniel in the lion's den, Charlie Kirk ventured into these hostile environments to demonstrate what actual diversity looks like. He discussed ideas productively rather than bullying anyone with alternative viewpoints into silence. He was murdered for initiating the kind of political discourse so essential to our ongoing freedom.

No doubt, myriad details will come out as to the why and how his murderer acted. I really couldn't care less. His murderer gave up any right to be heard when he embraced assassination. I hope that he is tried, convicted, and executed in obscurity, without any manifesto of his being published.

One thing is certain. His blood is on the hands of absolutely every Democrat who demonized Conservatives, Republicans, and Trumpists as being Nazi threats to our democracy. In no way is opposition to the MAGA agenda justification for the kinds of thinly-veiled calls for political violence that Democrats have increasingly indulged in. Those who did so are accessories to murder.
