JONES: Comments about recent column

I have to comment briefly on Jim Jones’ opinion piece published on Sept. 3. Jim covers many of the bases on the hate Trump check list.

Did Ashli Babbitt deserve to die? Perhaps some military honors for her in some way makes up for the atrocious over-reaction to her standing by a then unbreeched door in the capitol.  

Arresting illegals and sending them to “gulags.” I suppose many, if not most, are the ones who have criminal records, some very serious. Heck, why not just shoot them on the spot. If it’s good enough for Ashi… I’d wish Mr. Jones had cited his source on the makeup up those sent to the “gulags.”

Unfortunately for Mr. Jones, the elected officials he so dislikes reflect the vast majority of Idahoans. Maybe several hundred thousand more implants from California and Washington will change the tide and we can start to look like the true gem of states — California.

If Trump is truly a dictator, I would guess his “storm troopers” would have hauled Mr. Jones away long ago.
