FLAG: Praising Hayden City Hall
A week ago I went into Hayden City Hall to address an issue concerning the flags on the corner of Miles and Government. There is a stop sign on Miles and if you wanted to turn left heading south onto Government Way and the flag was waving it caused a blind spot to oncoming traffic.
I met with Deborah Shaver and told her my concern and she pulled a GIS map and asked if this was the flag I was referring to and I said “Yes.” She said she would bring it to the attention of Shannon Drappo. I thanked Deborah and came home. A few hours later I received a phone call from Shannon and she said that she had spoken to the owner of Outlaw Coffee and she would move the flag. By the next morning when I drove down Miles to the Stop Sign the flag had been removed and I no longer had a blind spot facing me while turning left onto Government Way.
I went back to Hayden City Hall and thanked Deborah for her follow through and how quickly my issue was taken care of in less than 24 hours! I have always believed that if I take the time to complain that I should take the same amount of time to compliment. My thanks to Hayden City Hall, Deborah Shaver, Shannon Drappo and the owner of Outlaw Coffee.
