EXPANSION: Declare a moratorium

I’m in total agreement with the three ladies who have written in the Aug. 22 Readers Write page: Margo Harding, Jennifer Eastman and Tamara McKenna.

I am sad and concerned about our river and land being destroyed every single day. Even downtown now has many high rises with no height restrictions. Someone needs to “step up” and declare a moratorium on expansion. They have done this in many towns around the U.S. It’s called “preservation.”

I do live on the river in Post Falls since 2001. I watch the wakes destroy our beaches, shores and docks.

We need people in charge to just “say no” to this so-called “progress.” It’s gone too far already. Call for “moratorium.”
