Tubbs, Canfield burns planned

The city of Coeur d’Alene Parks Department and the Coeur d’Alene Fire Department are coordinating a prescribed burn of piles of cut vegetation with Kootenai County and the Idaho Department of Lands on Tubbs Hill. The prescribed burn is tentatively scheduled for the first half of November.
Around the same time as the prescribed burn on Tubbs Hill, crews will also be burning prescribed burn piles in two smaller units in the city at Canfield Mountain.
